Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP) has partnered with management to make an investment in Tropichem Research Labs, LLC. The St. Louis, Missouri-based Tropichem (www.tropichem.com) is a premier producer of dermatological products and other specialty chemical formulations. Tropichem was advised by BellMark Partners, LLC on the transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Tropichem Research Labs, LLC, assists its customers in bringing products from concept to consumer by utilizing the latest technologies in equipment and ingredients. FDA registered and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) compliant, Tropichem primarily manufactures medicated shampoos, ear cleaners, wipes, and dental products for global animal health brands. In addition to its existing chemical product portfolio, Tropichem’s full-time, on-site chemists continuously develop new formulations specifically for its customers. The Company provides hot pour filling, lab testing, in-line machinery, batching and quality control.
