Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, today announced the sale of Universal Air Filter (UAF) to Chicago-based Filtration Group. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to Jim Cooper, TSCP Senior Managing Partner, “UAF is another successful investment for us. The opportunity to partner with management to acquire a strong Midwest-based company represented an ideal fit for us. We’ve supported the company in achieving significant growth and market leadership. UAF is well-positioned for continued success.”

The Sauget, Illinois-based UAF is a manufacturer of specialty air filtration products, utilized world-wide in the telecommunications, data networking, medical and power generation industries to manage heat dissipation and protect against dust contamination, fire, electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference.
