StayLock Storage®, a self-storage company headquartered in St. Louis, announced today its acquisition of Chapin, South Carolina-based Amicks Ferry and Chapin Self Storage. StayLock Storage is a platform company of Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis in partnership with Cequel III, a St. Louis-based management and investment firm. Amicks Ferry and Chapin Self Storage are providers of self-storage in the Chapin, South Carolina area. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
The two locations, which will now be brought under the StayLock brand, include a total of 484 units, 54,500 rentable square feet and feature climate-controlled storage, standard drive-up storage, and covered and outside parking.
