StayLock Storage®, a self-storage company headquartered in St. Louis, announced today its acquisition of a storage facility in Simpsonville, South Carolina from Assured Storage of Simpsonville. StayLock Storage is a platform company of Thompson Street Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in St. Louis, in partnership with Cequel III, a St. Louis-based management and investment firm. Assured Storage of Simpsonville is a provider of self-storage spaces. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
The facility (www.staylockstorage.com), which will now be under the growing “StayLock Storage” brand, features clean, well-lighted, secure facilities with security cameras and gated perimeter fence. The location also includes outdoor parking spaces for RVs, vehicles, and boats. Storage units offer drive-up access and 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year entry. The acquisition of the Simpsonville location gives StayLock Storage an enhanced presence in the South Carolina market.
