StayLock Storage®, a self-storage company headquartered in St. Louis, announced today its acquisition of Elkhart, Indiana-based South Side Mini Storage (South Side). StayLock Storage is a platform company of Thompson Street Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in St. Louis in partnership with Cequel III, a St. Louis-based management and investment firm. South Side Mini Storage is a provider of self-storage spaces. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
South Side (www.staylockstorage.com) offers clean facilities secured with perimeter fencing and a limited access gate system. The site offers drive-up storage units, indoor units, and outdoor RV, car, and boat parking spaces. The location will now be part of the growing “StayLock Storage” brand.
The acquisition of South Side Mini Storage by StayLock greatly increases the Thompson Street platform company’s presence in the Elkhart area.
