StayLock Storage®, a self-storage company headquartered in St. Louis, announced today its acquisition of three self-storage facilities in Battle Creek, Michigan, formerly known as Battle Creek Self Storage (Battle Creek), from a Midwestern-based partnership. StayLock Storage is a platform company of Thompson Street Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in St. Louis in partnership with Cequel III, a St. Louis-based management and investment firm.
Battle Creek will now be branded StayLock Storage (www.staylockstorage.com). From its three locations: 1061 East Michigan Avenue; 100 North Raymond Road; and 1316 Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek, the Company offers a total of 397 standard, climate-control, and parking units, comprising nearly 52,000 square feet of storage space.
The addition of Battle Creek Self Storage to the StayLock brand extends the Thompson Street platform company’s reach in the south-central Michigan area.
