Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP) has partnered with management to acquire Memphis-based Transnetyx, Inc., a leading independent genetic diagnostic laboratory specializing in automated genotyping. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Transnetyx (www.transnetyx.com) provides genotyping services to the pharmaceutical and academic research communities. The Company pioneered the automation of genotyping and has genotyped more than 16 million samples in 24 or 72 hours, with 99.97% accuracy. It has also built an inventory of more than 20,000 assays and more than 10,000 MGI and JAX lines.
