Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, announced today that its portfolio company Marmic Fire & Safety Co. (Marmic) has acquired Conway, Arkansas-based Scroggins Fire Extinguisher Company (Scroggins), a provider of fire protection equipment and related products and services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Scroggins supplies and services fire extinguishers, cabinets, hoses, brackets and other accessories to commercial businesses.
According to Michael Teeter, Marmic CEO, “This acquisition will allow Marmic to enhance offerings with its full-suite of capabilities – sprinkler and alarm systems, fire suppression, extinguishers, kitchen hood systems and more – to Scroggins’ broad customer base.
