Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, announced today that its portfolio company Alpaca Audiology has acquired Alton, Illinois-based Mid America Audiology Group (Mid America). The Company is a leading provider of audiological testing, high technology hearing aids and accessories. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Mid America Audiology Group (www.midamericaaudiologygroup.com) specializes in evaluating hearing loss, then matching the appropriate hearing technology to each client’s specific needs. As an independent private practice, Mid America can offer products from a wide assortment of major hearing aid manufacturers, enabling them to provide the best available technology and style for each unique situation. The Company also provides specialized accessories including Bluetooth® smartphone and computer connectivity.
