Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, announced today that its portfolio company Alpaca Audiology has invested in Austin, Texas-based Estes Audiology (Estes). The Company provides hearing assessments, high-tech hearing aids and assistive devices, accessories and related services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Estes Audiology (www.hearlifeagain.com) offers hearing solutions for all lifestyles, levels of hearing loss and budgetary requirements. With five locations in central Texas, Estes works in partnership with top hearing aid manufacturers globally to bring customers the latest and best in hearing aid technology. All hearing aids offered by Estes are discreet digital processors; most are wireless and Bluetooth enabled, some have streaming capability with Smartphones, while some brands such as Lyric are invisible and can be worn while sleeping, showering and during physical activity. In addition, Estes features custom monitors for musicians and hearing protection for hunters.
