StayLock Storage®, a self-storage company headquartered in St. Louis, announced today its acquisition of Muncie, Indiana-based Kilgore Avenue Storage (Kilgore). StayLock Storage is a platform company of Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, in partnership with Cequel III, a St. Louis-based management and investment firm. Kilgore is a provider of self-storage space and supplies. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
Kilgore (www.staylockstorage.com), now to be branded “StayLock Storage,” provides a large number of standard plus climate-controlled storage units of various sizes, U-Haul trucks and trailers, and moving/packing supplies. All units are secure – well lit, fenced and monitored 24/7.
The addition of Kilgore Avenue Storage to the StayLock brand expands the Thompson Street platform company’s market presence allowing it to serve more customers in the Muncie, Indiana market.
