StayLock Storage®, a self-storage company headquartered in St. Louis, announced today its acquisition of St. Joseph, Michigan-based BinTris Moving and Storage (BinTris). StayLock Storage is a platform company of Thompson Street Capital Partners, a private equity firm based in St. Louis in partnership with Cequel III, a St. Louis-based management and investment firm. BinTris is a provider of both traditional and premium self-storage spaces and moving services. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
BinTris (www.staylockstorage.com), operating four locations in the St. Joseph, Michigan area, will now carry the StayLock brand. This acquisition expands StayLock’s presence in Michigan by adding 1,055 units amounting to 124,000 square feet of storage space to the StayLock portfolio. Units are well lighted, highly secure, and include some with climate-controlled environments.
