Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, announced today that it has partnered with management to acquire TriStar Global Energy Solutions, Inc., of Houston, Texas. TriStar (www.tristarges.com) is a provider of hydrocarbon decontamination, tank cleaning, degassing and other maintenance and turnaround services primarily to refineries and petrochemical facilities. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
TriStar offers a comprehensive suite of customized solutions to safely and quickly perform challenging maintenance and turnaround activities. TriStar’s solutions are customized to address the needs of its refinery and petrochemical clients worldwide. These customized solutions, in conjunction with TriStar’s constantly evolving intellectual property, result in increased operating efficiency and minimized downtime at client facilities.
