Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, today announced the sale of Tacoma Electric Supply (Tacoma Electric) to Winsupply Inc. The Tacoma, Washington-based company is a market-leading distributor of electrical components in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1981, Tacoma Electric (www.tacomaelectric.com) has long served the commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure-related construction industries from its 70,000-square-foot facility in Tacoma, Washington, and its 2,500-square-foot showroom in Puyallup, Washington. Tacoma Electric is well known for offering a comprehensive electrical component product line from industry-leading manufacturers.
