Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, announced today that its portfolio company Marmic Fire & Safety Co. (Marmic) has acquired Little Rock, Arkansas-based Metropolitan Fire Extinguisher Company, Inc. (Metropolitan), a provider of fire protection equipment and related products and services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Metropolitan (www.metrofireext.com) has been serving its customers for 50 years and is the largest commercial fire safety business in the state of Arkansas. Metropolitan’s services include installation, testing, and maintenance of commercial fire extinguisher and suppression systems.
