Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, MO, announced today that its portfolio company Marmic Fire & Safety Company (Marmic) has acquired Denver-based Fire Safety Services (FSS), a provider of commercial fire protection services. FSS is the fourth add-on for Marmic since partnering with TSCP in August of 2018. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
FSS (www.firesafetyservices.biz) specializes in testing, inspections, service and sales of portable fire extinguishers, restaurant fire suppression systems, and exit and emergency lighting fixtures.
According to Michael Teeter, Marmic CEO, “This acquisition represents a strategic step forward for Marmic’s expansion into the Denver market. We are excited to partner with the FSS team and work with them to continue their success.”
