Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), a private equity firm based in St. Louis, announced today that its portfolio company BioreclamationIVT has acquired Detroit, Michigan-based Asterand Bioscience™ (www.asterandbio.com), a global provider of high-quality, well-characterized human tissue and research solutions with a focus on the oncology market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Asterand Bioscience helps expedite drug research – from target identification through compound evaluation and drug safety – by accelerating target identification and biomarker validation, and improving drug candidate selection to increase the likelihood of clinical success.
