Tabs3 Software, a portfolio company of Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP) announced today that it has acquired CosmoLex, a leading provider of cloud-based law practice management software. With the addition of CosmoLex, Tabs3 will serve more than 100,000 legal professionals in the United States and Canada. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, Tabs3 Software is a leading provider of financial and practice management software for small to midsized law firms. The Company’s flagship software platform, Tabs3, performs mission critical billing, time keeping and financial management functions and automates back-office workflows. PracticeMaster, Tabs3’s practice management software platform, delivers non-financial practice management tools to manage cases, contacts, calendars, and documents. Tabs3’s newest platform, Kurent, is a fully cloud-based billing platform for solo practitioners and small law firms.
Founded in 2013 in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, CosmoLex (www.cosmolex.com) provides law practice management software that integrates trust and business accounting, time tracking, billing, email and document management, and tasks and calendaring, in a single, cloud-based application.
